Аннотация

Дефицит железа имеется у 1/3 популяции и является основной причиной анемии во всех регионах мира. У пациентов пожилого возраста дефицит железа обусловливает 30% анемий. Диагностический алгоритм у больных старших возрастных групп включает исследование феррокинетики и поиск причины дефицита железа, главной из которых являются оккультные кровопотери из желудочно-кишечного тракта и снижение абсорбции железа. Для лечения используются препараты железа внутрь и парентерально под контролем клинического анализа крови и параметр овферрокинетики.
