Abstract

The spectrum of gluten-dependent conditions includes celiac disease, allergy to wheat protein and nonceliac gluten sensitivity. Timely diagnosis and differential diagnosis of diseases within the group of these conditions is important in connection with the need for an adequate choice of dietary and therapeutic interventions. The difficulty of working with this category of patients is the impossibility of a clinical differentiation of gluten-associated diseases. The aim of our review was to present modern data on the group of gluten-associated diseases and approaches to diagnosis.
