Abstract

Connective tissue disorders (CTD) - a heterogeneous group of diseases caused by mutations of extracellular matrix protein genes or protein genes involved in the morphogenesis of connective tissue. Today, more than 250 types of hereditary connective tissue disorders are known. Timely diagnosis and treatment of CTD remains one of the most difficult sections of pediatrics, presenting not only a medical, but also a serious social problem.
