PRECISION MEDICINE AND BRONCHIAL ASTHMA

Abstract

Bronchial asthma is a heterogeneous disease that has many «faces», which requires the most personalized approach to choosing the most optimal treatment. The problem of personalization and the emergence of the term «precision medicine» is a completely logical development of modern medicine, when available technologies based on genetic and molecular diagnostics appeared. The development of the concept of precision medicine has led to the emergence of new classification criteria and terms, including the emergence of the term «endotype». The nomenclature and key terms of precision medicine are considered.
