CLINICAL AND CONFLICTOLOGICAL ASPECTS FUNCTIONAL DISORDERS OF THE ESOPHAGUS
Abstract
Functional disorders of the esophagus are conflictogenic diseases due to the peculiarities of the onset and course, which often form the patient’s distrust of the recommendations of a gastroenterologist. Destructively completed conflicts with the patient can lead to psychological, social and legal problems. Conflictological competence of a gastroenterologist and mastery of negotiation techniques increase the likelihood of constructive resolution of contradictions. The article describes the psychological reasons for the patient’s conflicting behavior, the understanding of which allows one to correctly interpret his statements and formulate an answer that helps to eliminate contradictions. The article also provides ways of argumentation, constructive response to conflictogenic statements and methods of preventing the patient’s conflictual behavior. In addition, examples of the doctor’s conflicting statements are analyzed and more constructive alternatives are given.
