Abstract

As you know, almost all diseases of the adult population are rooted in childhood, and the metabolic syndrome is no exception. However, if in adults this is a long studied and well defined problem, which is devoted to thousands of studies, then with pediatric practice, everything is much more complicated. This article discusses the pathogenetic and clinical features of the formation of the components of the metabolic syndrome at the stage of fetal programming, in childhood and adolescence. Clinical approaches to the management of this group of patients are also considered.
