PRACTICAL RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THERAPISTS TO DIAGNOSE AND TREAT ANTIOBIOTICASSOCIATED DIARRHEA
Abstract
Practical recommendations are intended to optimize the tactics of managing patients with antiobioticassociated diarrhea with a focus on rational therapy and the peculiarities of the use of various groups of drugs for the conservative treatment of this disease. They are recommended for use by doctors working in outpatient and inpatient health care in St. Petersburg and intended for general practitioners and all specialists interested in clinical gastroenterology. These practical recommendations were developed on the basis of theapprovedClinical recommendations of the Russian Gastroenterological Association for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with Clostridium difficile associated disease, Clinical recommendations of the National Association of the specialists for the infection’s control and association of Coloproctologists of Russia for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with Clostridium difficile associated infection. These practical recommendations were approved by the Health Committee of the Government of St. Petersburg on October 26, 2020.
