Abstract

The article discusses the pathophysiological mechanisms of the development of acute myocardial infarction of type 2 in patients with severe aortic stenosis. Data on the prevalence of this pathology are given, both on the basis of literature and our own research. A description of the clinical observation demonstrating the development of acute myocardial damage in a patient with severe aortic stenosis, in the absence of angiographic signs of coronary artery disease, as well as the possibility of modern endovascular treatment methods is presented.
