Hematological manifestations in celiac disease

Abstract

Celiac disease in many cases characterized as extraintestinal manifestations, of which most often hematological manifestation occur. The review presents an analysis of literature about frequency and diagnosis in celiac patient’s anemias due to iron deficiency, vitamin B12 and folate deficiency, thrombotic and hemorrhagic complications, immunoglobulin A deficiency, lymphomas and other hematological pathology.
