Abstract
Anemia is the most common extraintestinal manifestation of inflammatory bowel disease. Usually detected iron deficiency anemia and anemia of chronic disease, less often megaloblastic anemia, hemolytic anemia andanemia due to myelosuppression. The review presents an analysis of literature about etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of anemia in patients with inflammatory bowel disease.
