RISK FACTORS FOR HEART TRANSPLANTATION
Abstract
Heart transplantation (TH) has become a generally accepted method of treating end-stage heart failure worldwide. Simultaneously with the accumulation of experience, doctors also face various complications. This paper describes a clinical and experimental assessment of risk factors affecting the peri- and postoperative period. The analysis of the potential causes of complications associated with the selection of heart recipients, the criteria of cardiac donation, aimed at both reducing mortality in the waiting list, and increasing the volume and effectiveness of surgical interventions for heart transplantation and recovery of patients after transplantation, through measures of physiological and hygienic prevention.
