Aim and scope

The main purpose of the journal "Russian Biomedical Research" is to inform specialists about the latest scientific research and achievements in the field of fundamental medicine and related disciplines, exchange experience between professionals, as well as inform about significant developments in biomedical research.

Key tasks include:

- Coverage of the most relevant areas of anatomy, histology, cytology, physiology, biochemistry, biophysics, immunology, pathophysiology, pathological anatomy, pharmacology, toxicology, microbiology, bacteriology, virology, parasitology, helminthology, genetics and other areas of fundamental medicine.

- Generalization of scientific and practical achievements for their integration into the professional environment.

- Publication of research results on medicines and medical equipment.

- Promoting the effective implementation of research results.

- Support for scientific progress and the professional level of the medical community.

- Creation of a platform for the exchange of opinions between researchers on topical issues of science and discussion of current controversial issues among doctors.

The editorial policy of the journal is based on recognized ethical principles of Russian scientific periodicals and modern legal requirements in the field of copyright and legality.

The editorial staff strictly adheres to the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications, developed by the Committee on Ethics of Scientific Publications, and conducts its work in accordance with the ethical standards set out in the Code of Conduct and Recommendations for Editors and Publishers established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

All scientific articles submitted to the editorial office are subject to mandatory double-blind peer review and are checked by the Anti-Plagiarism system. In case of detection of numerous borrowings, the editorial board acts in accordance with the COPE rules.
