Abstract

The article is dedicated the problems of mental and psychic disorders in patients suffering from Hashimoto’s thyreoiditis (HT). We have analyzed some of literature due to this interest. HT is a widespread disease. And some of psychiatric disturbances are the first signs of this problem which could course as a latent. The complaints are nonspecific so the diagnosis of thyroid disease and its dysfunction regularly is late. The results of scientific studies describing rate of psychic disorders, factors, difficulties in diagnosis and some features requiring more attention and making suspect hypothyreoidism were discussed. Also the main treatment approaches were considered.
