Assessment of the results of medical examinations of children and adolescents to meet the standards of the Ready for Labor and Defense All-Russian Sports Complex in the city children’s clinic of the subarctic territory
Abstract
Introduction The organization of medical support for the implementation of the standards of the All-Russian physical culture and sports complex “Ready for Labor and Defense” (VFSK GTO) in children’s clinics in the Republic of Komi (RK) is carried out in order to develop physical education movement among the population. Aim and objectives. Determine the annual indicators of examination of children and adolescents to meet the standards of the VFSK TRP in the city children’s clinic of the regional center of the subarctic territory. Patients and methods. A pilot analysis of the results of 1029 medical examinations of children and adolescents was performed to fulfill the standards of the VFSK TRP in the state budgetary health institution of the Komi Republic “Syktyvkar Children’s Clinic No. 3” (GBUZ RK “SDP No. 3”) in 2016-2019. When working on the material, methodological approaches were used: systemic, integrated, integration, functional, dynamic, process, normative, quantitative, administrative and situational. Methods used: historical, analytical and comparison. Applied techniques: grouping, absolute and relative values, average values, detail and generalization. The significance of differences in quantitative characteristics between groups with a normal distribution of quantitative variables was calculated using Student t criteria for independent samples. The threshold error probability for statistically significant differences was set at 0.05. The frequency coefficient was calculated for 10,000 of the child population. Results. 1,029 children were examined, of which 1,003 people (97.47±0.50%,) were admitted to passing sports standards, respectively, for the years: 2016 - 23 (95.83±4.08%), 2017 - 491 (96.84±0.78%), 2018 - 273 (98.91±0.62%), 2019 - 222 (97.29±1.09%), all p <0.001. At the same time, the frequency coefficient (c.h.) of applicants amounted to 60.66 per 10,000 child population, c.ch. admitted - 59.13. Average annual hours the children who determined the main medical group amounted to 84.14 per 10,000 children, the preparatory medical group - 8.59, including 7.49 admitted and the special medical group - 1.28. In the average annual age structure of the examined, as a rule, children 13-15 years old (29.74%) and 11-12 years old (23.23%) prevailed over other categories: 9-10 years old (22.25%), 16-17 years (13.99%) and 6-8 years (10.79%). The age structure of admitted children differs from those examined only by 0.1-0.2%. Conclusions. 1. The average annual quantitative indicator of those who applied for certification to the FFSK TRP standards is a statistical tool on the one hand - to determine the current and future load of medical personnel and determine the strength and means of medical support, on the other hand - an indirect indicator of the interest of children and adolescents in systematic physical education and sports, instilling in schoolchildren the skills of a healthy lifestyle and the prospects for the physical development of the nation. 2. The frequency of those examined per 10,000 children should be considered as an indirect marker for assessing the physical development of children and adolescents, since it is not the result of a continuous, but only selective (if requested) research. 3. The voluntary surrender of the WFSK TRP standards by children and adolescents should be approached as an indicator of physical readiness and high personal self esteem, including psychological readiness for competitive relations in the school and adolescent environment and psychological maturity.
