The article discusses the main options for the treatment of hormone replacement therapy for women in the period of peri and postmenopause and the effect of this treatment on the cardiovascular system. The correct selection of therapy is extremely actual due to rising rate of cardiovascular events depending of age in this group. So, it’s necessary to take into attention the formation of etiopathogenetic mechanisms earlier than menopause will come to start the most effective preventation of cardiovascular pathology and decrease risk of events. The special attention is given to analysis of the contemporary literal sources and results of international scientific trials which demonstrate the newest diagnostic and treatment possibilities according to actual views on functional cardiovascular changes in females.
