Abstract
The lecture defines food Allergy, presents epidemiological data on its prevalence, describes genetic and epigenetic risk factors for food Allergy. Special attention is paid to the role of microbiota in the formation of atopic phenotype. The classification of immune, nonimmune pathological reactions from the gastrointestinal tract and their combination are presented. Described clinical manifestations of food Allergy in newborns, diagnosis and differential diagnosis of gastrointestinal manifestations of food Allergy in them. Approaches to prevention and treatment are given. Special attention is paid to diet therapy.
