Influence of enterosorption on cytokine status during gastroduct and the related atopic diseases in children
Abstract
Objective: to demonstrate the effectiveness of the sorbent “Zosterin-ultra‑60” in the treatment of children with chronic gastroduodenitis and concomitant atopic dermatitis and to study the cytokine mechanisms of its effect in comorbid pathology of the gastroduodenal zone and atopy. 41 children of school age (13.9±2.36 years) with morphologically verified chronic gastroduodenitis were examined. 20 of them suffered from concomitant atopic dermatitis in the acute stage, 21 people had chronic gastroduodenitis in combination with bronchial asthma (BA) of moderate severity. All patients with bronchial asthma and atopic dermatitis in therapy as an enterosorbent (enterosorbents included in the standard of treatment of ATD ) was prescribed Zosterin ultra 60%, a course for 10 days. Intake of the sorbent “Zosterin-ultra‑60” in asthma is accompanied by a decrease in levels of interleukin 4, interleukin 5 and eosinophilic neurotoxin. At atopic dermatitis — decreases the level of interleukin 4 in the blood. These cytokines, especially can be used as a marker of control therapy.
