Abstract

The article presents a review of the literature concerning the therapeutic effects of local anesthesia and its use in the early rehabilitation of patients with orthopedic pathology. The effects of local anesthetics are not limited to their local anesthetic action. According to the authors, there is every reason to use, along with anesthesia, and non-anesthetic effects of regional blockades, which can have a significant impact on the outcome of surgical treatment.
