Abstract
The paper describes the case report of treatment the patient with severe polytrauma. It is shown that epidural morphine administration is the optimal method of analgesia in patients with multiple rib fractures. The use of low doses of morphine do not lead to respiratory depression and arterial hypotension. Analgesia with epidural morphine in patients who have suffered major blood loss and hemorrhagic shock is effective and safe.
