Peculiarities of the gastroesophageal reflux disease at persons with a metabolic syndrome

Abstract
In the modern world the high prevalence of a metabolic syndrome is 20-40%. The steady tendency to augmentation of prevalence of patients with a metabolic syndrome becomes perceptible. Epidemiological researches of the last years were showed that the frequency and prevalence of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERB) among other gastroenterological diseases was increased. The pathological gastroesophageal reflux is the basis of appearance and progression of GERB. Treatment of the patient with GERB and obesity should be complex: decrease of body, pharmacotherapy.
