LONG-TERM CONSEQUENCES OF CORONARY ANGIOPLASTIC WITH STENTING IN PATIENTS OF THE RAILWAY CLINICAL HOSPITAL
Abstract
30 cases of patients suffering from ischemic heart disease with coronary angioplasty with stenting in anamnesis who have been constantly observed at cardiology department of The Railway Clinical Hospital were investigated. All of patients were divided into two groups: group 1 - patients with drug-eluting stent, and group 2 - patients with the stent without drug coating. When the nest examination was carried out in 2 years after the first one, patient’s catamnesis was assessed, the functional class of angina was evaluated according to results of veloergometry, blood lipid spectrum, echocardiography, compliance to therapy, chronic intoxications (smoking). It was demonstrated that the rate of agina pectoris in patients with drug-eluting stent was definitely lower.
