A HYPERTROPHIC CARDIOMYOPATHY MASKED AS AN ACUTE CORONARY SYNDROME
Abstract
Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is the most frequent primary cardiomyopathy in clinical practice. Nevertheless, a number of diagnostic difficulties and even mistakes are happened due to the cardiomyopathy. Activity of cardiological departments in a multifunctional city hospital along 3,5 years was analyzed, frequency of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy among patients was established. Some specific anatomical and morphological features of the cardiomyopathy were found and characterized. The main factors hindering timely diagnostic have been identified and given some
advice to overcome them.
