MULTISYSTEM INFLAMMATORY SYNDROME IN ADULTS: HOW TO PROVE AND HOW TO TREAT IT?
Abstract
The pandemic of the new coronavirus disease has created serious threats to the physical health of the population and caused a wide range of complications. The multisystem inflammatory syndrome, which was previously detected in children and adolescents, and later found in adults, is considered. The article presents data on the prevalence, features of clinical manifestations, diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment of multisystem inflammatory syndrome in adults. The analysis of publications devoted to a series of cases, systematic reviews of cases of multisystem inflammatory syndrome in adults using eLIBRARY, Scopus, PubMed and Google Scholar.
