Abstract

Professional qualification of foreign students in Russian Federation depends significantly on social and economic living conditions in the country of residence. Students from Central Asia have specific characteristic features of lifestyle. 252 students of a medical university took part in the research; 126 of them were foreign students and the other 126 were Russian ones. The average age of all the students was 21,3. The basic mass of the students belongs to the age group 16–24 (89,0%). According to the results of the research, students from Central Asia represent a special social group. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a package of social and medical measures focused on health maintenance of foreign students during their tuition.
