INTRODUCTION OF EFFECTIVE MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES IN THE PRACTICE OF MOTHERHOOD AND CHILDHOOD ORGANIZATIONS OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN
Abstract
The ongoing health reforms in Kazakhstan aimed at introducing effective technologies of care and medical support to mothers and children in the practice of obstetrics and childhood contributed to the Millennium Development Goal 4 (MDG-4) in Kazakhstan, as evidenced by the Agreed Conclusion of the United Nations Inter-Agency Group on assessment the mortality rate (2014): «Kazakhstan, since 1990, has made significant progress in reducing infant and child mortality by 64% and 65% respectively. The country has met MDG 4 to reduce the death rate of children from 0 to 5 years by 2014».
