The modern features of health of children of the metropolis

Abstract

Official statistics and scientific research conducted in recent years in various regions of Russia, indicate the deterioration of the health of the child population, largely due to such potent risk factors like unfavorable environmental conditions and catastrophic decline in the socio-economic well-being of the Russian population. There is a significant change in the pattern of morbidity in childhood, reflected in the increase in the number of chronic and combined forms of disease, the increase in the frequency of intrapartum damage and hereditary pathology, which in turn leads to an increase in the number of children with disabilities. A feature of the modern pathology of childhood is the frequent transition of acute forms of disease in recurrent and chronic and increase in primary chronic disease. From the quality of the information, degree of their approximation to the real numbers, the so-called true incidence depends on the effectiveness of managerial decisions in regard to personnel, allocation of forces and resources in the industry, the focus of preventive measures. In the article on the basis of the analysis of statistical reporting for the period 2011–2015, including statistical forms No. 12, form No. 31, form No. 19, report forms containing information about the most important socially significant diseases, are the main trends in the health status of the child population of St. Petersburg. The results obtained about the incidence of children and adolescents, along with mortality, disability, and physical development are essential in assessing the state of health of children population and is necessary for the adoption of measures for its preservation and
enhancement.
