THE VALUE OF PRESCHOOL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN THE REHABILITATION OF CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES
Abstract
Today, the majority of preschool children have deviations in the state of health, and therefore they need recreational and remedial measures. According to the data of preventive examinations among preschool children, more than a fifth of them are assigned to group 3 of health, which indicates a high prevalence of chronic pathology in this age group. The child with deviations in health status and (or) with chronic pathology (child with disabilities) should have the same opportunities for socialization and to receive a proper education, as his healthy peers. Pre-school educational institutions, where the child spends all day and where there are favorable opportunities for preventive measures in the usual environment for children are the best basis for the organization of recreational work. Special institutions of preschool education are necessary for children with disabilities, the educational program of which is adapted for children with disabilities and where a complex of recreational and remedial measures is carried out. Consequently, the issue of improving
health-improving work in educational institutions is now becoming particularly relevant. The article presents the experience of the organization of recreational and rehabilitation work with children with disabilities in pre-school educational institutions of compensating type of Vyborgsky district of Saint Petersburg.
