Abstract

The goal of the state health policy is to improve the health status of the population based on the availability of medical care by creating legal, economic and organizational conditions for the provision of medical services that are appropriate to the level of morbidity and population needs, as well as the current level of development of medical science and the resources available to the state and citizens. Primary health care is the central link in total health care. In Russia, about 30% of patients are hospitalized unreasonably and can receive medical care using hospitalsubstituting technologies at the prehospital stage. The development of hospital-replacement forms of medical care is determined by the need of the population for this type of medical services, as well as the need for rational and effective use of financial resources and material and technical resources of health care. In the article, a comparative analysis of various inpatient substitution forms of medical care according to the criteria of medical, social and economic efficiency was carried out,
and basic indices for the evaluation of the work of a day hospital were determined.
