Abstract
The health of the upcoming generation is a valuable resource for the future of any country. One of the sensitive indicators for assessing the health of children and adolescents is the quality of life (QOL) criterion. This article presents the results of evaluating some indicators of the quality of life of adolescents using the example of pupils of cadet educational institutions using the SF-36 questionnaire. The analysis showed that the physiological component of adolescent health was 50.38±5.86 points, which was influenced by the level of physical health (FF p = 0.002), pain (BP p ≤0.001), physical activity (RFF p ≤0.001), general health (GH p = 0.002). The psychological component of adolescent health was 44.65±10.41 points. It was influenced by mental health (MH p ≤0.001), emotional state (REF p = 0.011), social functioning (SF p = 0.002), vital activity (VA p ≤0.001), general health (GH p ≤0.001). The obtained data can be used for the development and improvement of programs for medical and social support of adolescents in educational institutions of the cadet profile.
