SOME RESULTS OF ESTIMATION OF THE STATE OF AMBULATORY ASSISTANCE IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE DISTRICT HOSPITAL
Abstract
Rural areas are known to have some peculiar characteristics, which make an impact on the overall system of organization of medical care. Leading medical organizations providing medical care to rural residents are central district and district hospitals. To assess the condition of outpatient care in rural health care, the Toksovskaya District Hospital, a state budget health care institution in Leningrad region, studied data from the federal statistic report “Information of the medical organization form No. 30” for 2015–2017. To realize this goal using the specially developed «Copy Card», we conducted a study of the personnel stuff, indicators of outpatient and outpatient care levels and the load indicators of the doctors conducting consulting hours at the local polyclinics. The analysis of obtained indicators allows to conclude that low availability of medical care provided in outpatient settings to the rural population is primarily due to a sharp increase in the number of patients attached to a concrete polyclinic.. The increase in visits of sick patients in 2015–2017 and the reduction in the number of visits for preventive purposes manifests the deterioration of health of the rural population.
