RESULTS OF THE ASSESSMENT OF INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE INDICATORS OF THE DERMATOVENEREOLOGICAL SERVICE OF THE NORTHWEST FEDERAL DISTRICT OF RF
Abstract
Dermatovenerological care is a type of specialized medical care provided to patients with skin and venereal diseases. In order to assess individual performance indicators of the dermatovenerological service of the Northwest Federal District in 2015-2107, official statistic reports and publications of the Federal State Statistics Service, collections “Resources and activities of health care institutions” and “Resources and activities of skin and venerological institutions” of the FSBI CRIOIHC of the Ministry of Health of Russia were analized. It was established that in the years studied, in the Northwest Federal District and in St. Petersburg, in comparison with the average Russian indicators, there is a higher provision of dermatovenerologists and a lower provision of dermatological beds. According to most indicators, the use of bed capacity in the Northwest Federal District is more rational than in the Russian Federation as a whole (longer work of a dermatovenerological bed and higher than its turnover, lower than the duration of instay of the patient and its idle time). A study of the use of bed resources of the dermatovenerological profile in St. Petersburg revealed that with a higher level of provision by dermatovenerologists compaired to the whole district, according to most indicators, the work of the dermatovenerological service in inpatients departments is worse than in the Northwest Federal District. An assessment of the use of a bed fund of the dermatovenerological profile in dynamics showed that after the improvement of indicators in 2016, in 2017 there was a negative trend in almost all indicators. Thus, both in the Northwest Federal District and in St. Petersburg, optimization of the work of the dermatovenerological service is required.
