The quarterly scientific and practical journal publishes original clinical and experimental studies on the radiation diagnosis of various diseases, articles on the effectiveness of radiopaque and magnetic resonance contrast agents, as well as clinical observations based on comparisons of morphological and radiation studies, lectures on the specifics of the use of radiation studies in clinical practice, literature reviews on the latest achievements in the field of diagnosis of diseases and features of diagnostic techniques, etc. the Journal is registered in the RSCI. The publication is intended for radiologists: radiologists, specialists in computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound doctors, radiologists, as well as doctors of almost all medical and biomedical specialties, applying the methods of complex radiology in their daily practice.

The journal "Visualization in Medicine" is included in the List of leading scientific journals and publications of the Higher Attestation Commission, in which the main results of dissertations for the degrees of candidate and Doctor of Sciences should be published (Order No. 222-r dated 06/10/2024) in the specialties: 3.1.6.
