Abstract

In accordance with the requirements of professional standards for the implementation of regulated labor functions, there is necessary to create purposefully the professional competencies. Nowadays, the information on the development and application of simulation training methods in Medical Radiology is fragmented and not systematized. To determine the training models for specific labor functions of Medical Radiology doctors, the experience of training residents in the specialty “Radiology” and trainees of professional retraining cycles in the “Ultrasound Diagnostics” specialty at St. Petersburg State University for 10 years has been analyzed and summarized. Based on the requirements of professional standards, two areas are identified, that require the application of simulation training: the performance of radiologic examinations and training in detailed analysis of medical radiologic images.
