Abstract

Not only the assessment of the volume and localization of the tumor lesion is a fundamental criterion for the choice of treatment. This clinical case is a vivid example of the fact that solely removing an organ does not have satisfactory efficacy, does not prevent recurrence and does not provide the expected quality of life of a patient with a history of urinary cancer, and may also mislead the treating physician about the scope of diagnostic manipulations.
