Abstract

The teaching staff of the Department of Normal Anatomy has developed a technology for visually studying the basics of medical knowledge and popularizing a healthy lifestyle for various categories of the population. It has been successfully tested in a number of secondary and higher educational institutions of the city, at the forum “Right to Life. Russian Week” (Finland), in the educational program “Health for Life”, as well as during the scientific and educational exhibition “The Human Body”. The experience gained is summarized in the scientific and practical development “Innovative forms of visual scientific and educational work to maintain a healthy lifestyle and study the basics of medical knowledge in educational institutions”, awarded the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of education (2013). It is shown that the proposed innovative technologies for visual study of the basics of medical knowledge, the formation of a conscious need for a healthy lifestyle, based on the demonstration of natural anatomical preparations that reflect the norm, vivid pathology, the impact on the body of bad habits and injuries (shocking pathology), are modern and quite effective. They contribute to the education of a healthy young generation in our country.
