Examples of V.N. Shevkunenko doctrine based on anatomical specimens of the museum of the Department of Surgery
Abstract
This article provides an analysis of the individual anatomical features within the doctrine of V.N. Shevkunenko of individual anatomical variability of various organs and body systems on the matireal examples offered by scientific museum of department of operative surgery and topographic anatomy of the St. Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University. As resul were were considered systems: the gastrointestinal tract, central and peripheral nervous and circulatory systems. Created by Professor F.I. Valker museum has a unique preparations that display age-individual variability of sections of the course of topographic anatomy, which is of interest, as an illustration of the developmental determinants of individual variability of organs in adult age. Matireals in scientific museum of the department- is valuable material for the mastering of the main provisions of V.N. Shevkunenko doctrine and can be very useful from the point of view about understanding of the importance of basic knowledge of topographical anatomy to any professiona of any medical specialty. Applied value of V.N. Shevkunenko doctrine is: correct assessment of the data of the patient survey, explanation of the differences in the clinical picture of the disease, explanation of character of the pathological processes, possible complications, analysis and account of individual reactions of the body under extreme conditions, research of rational surgical approaches, taking into account of the individual characteristics and personalized approach in any surgical procedures.
