Abstract

Topographic and anatomical features of a rare combination of abdominal hernias: femoral and obturator hernia, as well as the case of simultaneous occurrence of inguinal and femoral hernias in the patient are considered. Given that 28,4% of patients have abnormal location of the obturator artery in the hernial sac, there is a risk of bleeding during herniation. On the basis of computed tomography (CT) and angiography data, 3D models are created that allow to choose the optimal access when planning an operation and avoid damage to the vessels. The advantage of laparoscopic access and hernioplasty using a mesh implant in these types of hernias is shown.
