ORGANIZATION OF THE WORK OF STATE DENTAL POLYCLINICS UNDER PANDEMIC CONDITIONS
Abstract
The article is to highlight the features of the organization of work of state dental clinics in the context of the coronavirus infection COVID-19 recent spread. The article also provides an overview of legislative acts and regulatory documents of the Russian Federation that regulate the functioning of dental services during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this article is to highlight the specifics of the functioning of state dental medical organizations in the context of the spread of a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19). The relevance of this goal is dictated by the lack of knowledge about the new pathogen, the mechanisms of transmission from infected to healthy ones, the severity of the disease, the presence of frequent complications, etc. The authors outline the problem of a stable global increase in the incidence of coronavirus infection and the associated difficulties that arise in the healthcare system and in dentistry in particular. Recommendations for making changes to the organization of dental care are given. The article notes the difficulty of making balanced and optimal decisions on the work of medical institutions in a radically changed environment. The important role of administrative measures to ensure infection safety in providing dental care in the context of a pandemic is emphasized. Organizational aspects, tactical models for the implementation of recommendations for the prevention of corona virus infection in public dental clinics are considered. The authors propose to develop and approve regulatory documents on compliance with infectious safety by medical personnel in accordance with the specifics of the dental medical institution, the volume of dental care.
