Abstract

The «kidney block» is an acute suprastenotic expansion of the collector system of the kidney and ureter, with blockage by concretion or compression from the outside, due to a violation of the passage of urine and accompanied by acute pain. And its severity can range from mild to critical. Diagnosis is possible using methods such as computed tomography, ultrasound diagnostics and X- ray examination. The article discusses the methods of radiation examination and the peculiarities of visualization of the urinary system in violation of the outflow of urine — “kidney block”.
