Abstract

Introduction. The article discusses the issues of restorative treatment of patients with reflex disorders in cervical-thoracic dorsopathy. Рurposes — to study the effectiveness of the use of methods of restorative treatment of reflex disorders in patients with dorsopathy of cervical-thoracic localization in comparison with standard therapy. Materials and methods. Patients with cervical-thoracic dorsopathy were examined during clinical and neurological examinations. Manual tests were applied to determine the source of pain. Reflex disorders were characterized by a decrease or loss of deep myotatic reflexes. The subjects were stratified into homogeneous groups of patients in accordance with the chosen treatment method. Results. In patients with complicated forms of cervical- thoracic dorsopathy, the original treatment method had a significant reduction in the frequency of reflex disorders by 62%, and standard therapy reduced the frequency of these disorders in only 36%. In 80% of patients with uncomplicated forms of cervical-thoracic dorsopathy, who used the original treatment method, regression of reflex disorders was noted, and in patients who received standard treatment, a decrease in reflex disorders was noted in 40% of patients. Conclusion. The data obtained indicate the high effectiveness of the methods of the original complex restorative treatment of reflex disorders in patients with cervical-thoracic dorsopathy compared with standard therapy. There is a potentiation of therapeutic effects in patients of the main group in comparison with the control group.
