Inpatient dermatological care quality assessment results with the use of automated i nformation system

Abstract

With the help of automated information system developed by the authors for quality examination of inpatient care for patients with skin and subcutaneous tissue diseases, the inpatient care quality assessment has been carried out with respect to 210 dermatological patients who received treatment in Leningrad, Novgorod and Pskov Regions. The lowest level of inpatient care quality was in Leningrad Region, the satisfactory level was in Pskov Region, proper level was observed in Novgorod Region registered. The lowest rating in all three Regions was given to the quality of record keeping, medical and medical/organisational arrangements.
