Influence of living conditions and lifestyle on trams’ drivers health
Abstract
In St. Petersburg about 20 % of the population use ground electric transport daily. Passengers’ safety depends on several factors, among which one of the most important is health of public transport drivers. The purpose of this medical-social research is analysis of tram drivers’ living conditions and lifestyle, which affects their health, and development of profilactic techniques to reduce the negative impact. Modern methods of medical biostatistics were used in this research. For assessment of health, activity and mood the blank SAN test has been used. According to the results of discriminant analysis the interrelation of living conditions and lifestyle adverse factors and the most common pathology of tram drivers has been established.
