SIGNIFICANCE OF 3D-MODELING IN ASSESSING THE PREVALENCE OF PANCREATIC HEAD CANCER
Abstract
The “gold standard” for diagnosing cancer of the head of the pancreas is computed tomography with dynamic contrast enhancement. However, this method has a number of limitations associated with the insufficient sensitivity of the method to small tumor formations, as well as to distant metastases. The paper presents preliminary results of using three-dimensional modeling on based on comparative data from magnetic resonance and computed tomography.
